Omsktransmash delivered a new batch of T-80BVM tanks, modernized ahead of schedule to the Ministry of Defense
MOSCOW, September 30 – RIA Novosti. Omsktransmash (Omsk Transport Engineering Plant, part of Rostec’s Uralvagonzavod concern) has delivered to the RF Ministry of Defense a new batch of deeply modernized T-80BVM tanks under the state defense order, the UVZ press service reported on Friday.
“The Omsk Transport Engineering Plant delivered another batch of T-80BVM tanks to the Ministry of Defense as part of the execution of the state defense order. The enterprise fulfills all its obligations to the customer ahead of schedule,” said the press service of the concern.
Along with the tanks, children’s letters were sent to the troops with words of support for the Russian tankers.
“For a month, the facility hosted the patriotic campaign ‘Letters to Soldiers’, in which children of employees produced messages with drawings and words of support for soldiers who valiantly fulfill their duties away from home,” the UVZ said. Said.
