Mobilized Permian not detained after video of “placement” on the field
PERM, September 30 – RIA Novosti. A source from the law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti that the information about a reserve soldier from the Perm Territory, who posted a video about the alleged placement of those detained by the police and mobilized for an overnight stay in an open area, is not correct.
Earlier, on one of the Telegram channels, it was alleged that the mobilized inhabitants of Perm’s Berezniki were left to spend the night in an open field without supplies. The press service of the governor’s administration reported that the commander of the military unit did not confirm this information.
Social media also alleged that military police detained a reservist who posted a video of “embedding” in the open and “threatened with text”.
A source from law enforcement said, “The data that appeared on the network (on the detention of mobilized people) has been checked, it does not correspond to the facts.”
Partial mobilization has been declared in Russia by presidential decree since September 21. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary to control the 1000-kilometer line of contact and liberated areas in Ukraine. 300 thousand people will be called up, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
Perm Region officials reported that the transfer of mobilized from the region to the training units is planned to be completed before 1 October.
