The Ministry of Defense showed footage in which residents of the DPR thank the citizens called from the reserve
MOSCOW, September 30 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has released footage of residents of the DPR thanking citizens and volunteers called from the reserve as part of the partial mobilization in Russia.
“This is what should have happened, now everything is real,” said a resident of the DPR, expressing his stance against partial mobilization.
“For protection, of course, it is necessary (partial mobilization – ed.). I think that if Russia is here, life will somehow be better,” said a resident of the republic.
“These are those who want peace, those who want to protect people,” another woman said.
Partial mobilization has been declared in Russia since September 21, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary to control the 1000-kilometer line of contact and liberated areas in Ukraine. During the mobilization, a total of 300,000 reservists will be called in, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
