On September 21, the Russian President declared partial mobilization at the suggestion of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. As the head of state emphasized, before being sent to the troops, “those called up for service will necessarily undergo additional military training, taking into account the experience of a special military operation.”

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special military operation to demilitarize and de-Nazis Ukraine. Vladimir Putin described his mission as “protecting people who have been subjected to eight years of bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime”. According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
