DONETSK, 1 October – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian troops shelled Makiivka and Gorlovka in 53 minutes, 13 “NATO” caliber 155 mm artillery shells were fired, informs DPR’s representation at JCCC.

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin on Friday after the results of the referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, and then signed agreements on the admission of the regions to Russia.

The Gorlovsky settlement of the Izotov mine was bombed at 09:35, four “NATO” shells were fired in its direction.

155 millimeter caliber cannons are used by NATO countries. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range M-777 howitzers of 155 millimeter caliber, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to bombard the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. In addition, the Kyiv troops were provided with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
