MOSCOW, October 4 – RIA Novosti. Russian planes attacked the headquarters of the Ukrainian air command in Dnepropetrovsk, reported Journalists in the Ministry of Defense.

“A high-precision strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces on the southwestern outskirts of Dnepropetrovsk hit the headquarters of the Vostok air command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the report says.

In addition, missile attacks hit the areas of concentration of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian army in the direction of Kupyansk. The losses of these units amounted to about 100 people, including foreign mercenaries and 16 pieces of military equipment. Up to 90 soldiers were destroyed in the direction of Lisichansk, three tanks and six armored vehicles of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, the Russian army inflicted a massive fire defeat on units of the 66th mechanized brigade and two temporary deployment points of the nationalists. There, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are estimated at 120 people and 14 armored vehicles. And in the Krivorozhsky and Andreevsky directions, the VKS destroyed nine tanks, 12 infantry fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles and up to 250 military personnel from the 24th mechanized, 17th tank and 128th mountain assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Rocket attacks in the city of Zaporozhye hit the ammunition depot of the 65th mechanized brigade and aircraft repair shops on the territory of the Motor Sich plant. As a result, more than 15 tons of ammunition were destroyed, including shells for the American MLRS HIMARS and two Ukrainian Mi-24 combat helicopters.

The other day, fighters shot down two Ukrainian aircraft: the Su-25 in the sky over the DPR and the Su-24 in the Kherson region.

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special military operation to de-Nazis and demilitarize Ukraine. Vladimir Putin described his mission as “protecting people who have been subjected to eight years of bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime”. According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
