CSTO “Interaction-2022” command and staff exercises ended in Kazakhstan
MOSCOW, October 6 – RIA Novosti. Command and personnel exercises of the special forces formations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CRRF CSTO) “Interaction-2022” Collective Rapid Response Forces concluded on Thursday in Kazakhstan, reported Journalists in the joint press center of the CSTO exercises.
During the maneuvers, various elements of the operation “Preparation and conduct of a joint operation to localize the armed conflict in the Central Asian region in the collective security zone” were worked out. “These exercises demonstrated a well-coordinated mechanism of interdepartmental interaction between operational and special-purpose units to develop tactics for eliminating the consequences of an emergency with elements of terrorism and extremism, illegal armed formations and organizing comprehensive support for the implementation of war missions,” says the report.
At the closing ceremony of the exercises, awards were given to those who participated in the exercises from military units that demonstrated excellent training, interaction and high military skills.
Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, head of the CSTO joint headquarters, noted that the skill demonstrated in the exercises is a guarantee of both internal and external security. “This is the key to the fulfillment of any given task. Under these conditions, CSTO units must be constantly ready for tasks as intended. These joint exercises are the highest and most effective form of joint training of command and control bodies, formations.
