Russian President Vladimir Putin declared partial mobilization on September 21. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary to control the thousand-kilometer line of contact and liberated areas in Ukraine.
A total of 300,000 reservists will be drawn into the Russian Armed Forces, which is just over one percent of the country’s total mobilization resource.
