Representation of DPR in JCCC: UAF bombed Yasinovataya and Donetsk in less than three hours
DONETSK, October 10 – RIA Novosti. In less than three hours, Ukrainian soldiers rounded up the two districts of Yasinovataya and Donetsk, firing a total of nine 155 mm caliber artillery shells. informs Representation of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of War Crimes Issues in Ukraine (JCC).
Yasinovataya is located about 25 kilometers north of Donetsk and is home to the largest train station in the former USSR. It has been in contact with the combat positions of the Ukrainian troops for about eight years, in the direction of Avdiivka, west of the city, which has been controlled by the DPR since 2014.
Petrovsky district of Donetsk is located on the western outskirts of the capital of the DPR, it is the most distant part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DPR declared its independence from Kiev, this area has been regularly bombed by Ukrainian security forces, starting from the contact line outside the city of Marinka.
155 millimeter caliber cannons are used by NATO countries. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range M-777 howitzers of 155 millimeter caliber, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to bombard the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. In addition, the Kyiv troops were provided with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
