A tanker from the Rostov region called out to other people on the move, urging them not to fear anything.
DONETSK, October 10 – RIA Novosti. In civilian life, senior sergeant Leonid from the Rostov region was the director of a construction company and after the mobilization he became the gunner of the T-72 tank, turned to other mobilized men, “no need to be afraid, this is our country.”
“I want to say to everyone who is mobilized: there is no need to be afraid, this is our country, our homeland. We must proudly carry what our country should accept. And do not forget who we are – Russian soldiers, Officers. And do not be afraid of anything “, – said Leonid with a modest call sign “Lenya ” with RIA Novosti.
Leonid is 42 years old. A week and a half ago he was the director of a construction company, and now he is already at the forefront of DPR.
“I continue to pay my salary,” he smiles.
As for the fact that he was mobilized, he says he was “suspected” – Leonid participated in hostilities in the North Caucasus 22 years ago, so the agenda did not come as a surprise.
“The regional president personally brought me his home in a serious atmosphere. It was nice,” says Tanker.
There was no fear of partial mobilization. “We only fear God and have nothing else to fear. Only He can punish us for our crimes,” says Leonid.
Now he remembers his tank driving skills. Leonid says what I forgot was recommended by more experienced comrades. We met well – the “old-timers” share not only their experience, but also products, equipment, everything necessary, he adds.
“I didn’t forget anything in principle. Hands remembered. A little bit now the consistency of the crew and ahead, we can help our men more,” he said.
Partial mobilization has continued in Russia since September 21. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary to control the 1,000-kilometer front line and liberated areas in Ukraine. A total of 300 thousand people will be called – that is, about one of about 80 people in the reserve and mobilization reserve, and above all those who already have combat experience. More than 200,000 mobilized troops had arrived, Shoigu said on October 4.
