KREMENAYA (LPR), 10 October – RIA Novosti. A fighter of the BARS volunteer battalion in the defense of Krasny Liman told RIA Novosti that the foreign mercenaries laid down their weapons as they retreated from their positions.

According to him, his troops equip a defensive line near the city of Kremennaya. Soldiers dig trenches and build bunkers in the surrounding forests. One of the fighters, in an interview with an RIA Novosti correspondent, talked about arming foreign mercenaries.

“Polish grenade launchers, even American grenade launchers, we have several pieces” – this is how the fighter described the trophies after a conflict with one of the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups. In addition to heavy weapons, mercenaries are armed with foreign models of small arms. “M-16, AR-15 – these are their new generation rifles. Also M-60 machine guns,” Erdogan said, adding that such weapons fell on Russian soldiers after the clashes.

Moscow had previously sent notes to NATO countries for arms supplies to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted that the pumping of weapons into Ukraine from the West does not contribute to the success of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative impact.
