Russian tourists invited to the National Assembly of Laos after the start of the direct flight
VLADIVOSTOK, 19 October – RIA Novosti. Saisomphon Phomvihan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Laos, has invited tourists from Russia to visit the country after the launch of a direct flight from Vladivostok, according to the representative office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladivostok.
Vladivostok – Vientiane direct flights are scheduled to start on 29 October. In the future, Ural Airlines will operate weekly flights between Far Eastern and Lao capitals on Saturdays.
“On the eve of the expected opening of the Vladivostok-Vientiane air service on October 29, Politburo member and Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Saisomfon Phomvihan, invited tourists from Russia to visit Laos,” the office said. Laos Times.
The President noted the country’s efforts to develop and promote the tourism industry and the convenience of guests. He noted that the start of flights was even more remarkable on 7 October as Laos and Russia celebrated the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
According to Phomvikhan, some Laotians speak Russian, which will make it easier for Russian tourists to stay in the country.
Vientiane is an important economic center of the country, with Buddhist temples, buildings of classical colonial French architecture. Tourists can see mountain ranges, caves, waterfalls.
