FBI Director Rey: China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are undermining democratic institutions in the US

WASHINGTON, November 16 – RIA Novosti. FBI Director Christopher Wray said at a House hearing that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are undermining key democratic institutions, national security and the rule of law in the United States.

“Countries like China, Russia, Iran and North Korea are growing more aggressively. They are finding angles to undermine our core democratic institutions, our national security and the rule of law,” he said.

At the same time, as the head of the FBI has made clear, China poses the greatest threat to economic and national security, as well as to US inventions and ideas. Ray noted the FBI’s high concern over China’s cybersecurity threats, including the collection and theft of Americans’ personal data, including the use of the TikTok social network.
