About 4,000 Ukrainian military personnel will be trained in the Czech Republic in 2022-2023
PRAGUE, November 16 – RIA Novosti. In 2022-2023, about 4 thousand Ukrainian military personnel will be trained in the Czech Republic. This proposal of Defense Minister Yana Chernokhova was approved by the government of the republic, reported Czech radio.
“The government agreed with the head of the Ministry of Defense proposal to train Ukrainian military personnel in the republic in five four-week cycles of 800 men each, the total cost of which will be 975 million kronor (about $ 40 million),” the report says.
The training camp, which will be held for the first time this year, will include approximately 700 mechanized battalion soldiers, 40 support units, 30 doctors, 10 chemical protection specialists and 20 engineering units. Lessons with the remaining four groups will be held in 2023.
