Iranian Presidential Representative Kumi: Negotiations with Russia will expand
MOSCOW, November 17 – RIA Novosti. The Iranian President’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qumi, told RIA Novosti that the talks between Tehran and Moscow will expand, especially on Afghanistan issues.
“The negotiations between Tehran and Moscow will expand, including the Afghanistan issues. Of course, the Afghanistan issue is not just a matter of Iran and Russia. This is an international issue. It is natural that the negotiations between these two countries take a long time.” It will take place in this framework and it will definitely get stronger and develop.”
He also noted that many factors, mostly positive, affect the cooperation between Moscow and Tehran. According to him, these include the US intervention in the Middle East and the conflict in Ukraine.
