Federation Council: Russian delegation to discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation in Baku
MOSCOW, November 18 – RIA Novosti. According to the press service of the Federation Council, the delegation of the Russian Federation will attend the meeting of the Russia-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Commission to be held in Baku on 21-23 November.
The delegation will be headed by the co-chairman of the commission, Vice-President of the Federation Council Galina Karelova.
In the report, “At the meeting, the issues of further development and deepening of cooperation between the parliaments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be discussed. It is also planned to sign the 2023 work plan of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission.”
The Federation Council delegation will include Chairman of the Federation Council Budget and Financial Markets Committee Anatoly Artamonov, Chairman of the Federation Council Social Policy Committee Inna Svyatenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Science, Education and Culture Committee İlyas Umakhanov. , Anatoly Shirokov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, and Alexander Bashkin, member of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building.
