The regional governor, Valery Limarenko, stated that the incident occurred in the village of Tymovskoye, located at Bibliochnaya Street 6a, that gas was not supplied to the house and the reasons for the explosion were being investigated. Local authorities cited improper storage and operation of household gas cylinders as the primary cause of the incident. According to the latest data from the governor’s office, 9 people, including 4 children, died as a result of the state of emergency, and one person may be trapped under the rubble.
