ASTANA, November 20 – RIA Novosti. Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vasilenko said on Sunday that the turnout for Kazakhstani citizens who voted in the extraordinary presidential election abroad, held at 7:00 pm (4:00 pm Moscow time), was 57.5%.

“About 7,400 citizens of Kazakhstan, 57.5% of the voters on the lists voted abroad,” the diplomat said at a meeting. Another 57 ballot boxes are still running and one in San Francisco (USA) has yet to be opened. with journalists.

He noted that 68 election commissions were established in 53 foreign countries to exercise the rights of Kazakhstani citizens abroad.

Vasilenko, “The total number of voters abroad is 12,841 people. As of 19.00, 10 election commissions in countries such as Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Mongolia, Thailand, Indonesia have completed their work.” .

Early presidential elections are held in Kazakhstan on November 20. MSK has registered six presidential candidates, including incumbent head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
