Shafaq: Iran hits headquarters of Tehran opposition party and refugee camp in Iraq
CAIRO, 21 November – RIA Novosti. Iranian armed forces attacked a refugee camp and the headquarters of an opposition party in Tehran in Iraqi Kurdistan, the agency reported. Dawn Monday night
“The headquarters of the Iranian Kurdish opposition party in the town of Koy-Sancak near Erbil was hit,” a local source told the agency. It is not yet clear what exactly was hit. According to the source of the El Sumaria channel, the attack was carried out with three rockets.
It was reported that there were dead and wounded in the attack carried out by Iran on a refugee camp in the city of Bahirqa, north of Erbil.
Simultaneously with the attacks, sirens sounded in front of the US consulate in Erbil.
Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that 89 targets were destroyed in the air operation in northern Syria and Iraq. On Sunday, Ankara conducted airstrikes on the illegal Kurdistan Workers Party’s (PKK) Syrian wing in northern Syria (attacks reported on the city of Kobani) and northern Iraq.
