Rogov reported that the Energodar Armed Forces were probably bombed in the coastline area.
MOSCOW, November 21 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian army fires again at Energodar telegraph channel Volodymyr Rogov, head of the movement “We are with Russia”, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.
“Energodar is under fire from militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! <...> According to preliminary information, there are people coming to the region along the coastline,” he wrote.
According to Rogov, the bombardment is carried out with NATO-style heavy artillery. Details are being finalized, he added.
Energodar, on the left bank of the Dnieper, is home to Europe’s largest Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. It has been under the protection of the Russian army since March. Ukrainian troops regularly bombard both the city and the territory of the station, in recent days the attacks have become especially large, blows have been recorded at the nuclear power plants to the cooling system and the dry storage of nuclear waste.
Last week, the IAEA Board of Governors passed a resolution urging Russia to leave the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and renounce “baseless allegations” of owning it. The document was ratified by 24 of 35 countries, with Russia and China voting against it. As Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated, the approaches of the Board of Governors do not reflect the truth. Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations, described the decision as unenforceable, since the nuclear power plant is located on Russian territory and has already become part of the energy system.
