MOSCOW, November 22 – RIA Novosti. The Financial Transition Government banned French-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from operating in the country.
In the statement, it was noted that the ban decision is also valid for NGOs operating in the field of humanitarian aid.
In the spring, the Malian government announced that it would terminate defense agreements with France and urged France to withdraw troops participating in Operations Barkhane and Takuba. In July, France announced the official end of Operation Takuba, a joint operation with European allies to combat terrorism in Mali.
