MOSCOW, November 22 – RIA Novosti. During his meeting with the President of Cuba, Russian President Vladimir Putin shared his memories of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who impressed him with his immersion in the details and nuances of events taking place in the world.
Putin will meet with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez on Tuesday.
“I really remember our personal conversations with him in detail. He was a smart person. When we first met – when we discussed the current situation in his office and at lunch in free mode, I was very impressed, I remember. He knew everything and was able to analyze it.”
“It was very interesting and useful for me to have these talks with him,” said Putin.
