YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, November 23 – RIA Novosti. A workshop for the manufacture of drones began to work on the basis of an IT park in Sakhalin, knowledgeable Governor Valery Limarenko.
“Today I visited a workshop for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles opened in Sakhalin. The new line is deployed on the basis of a regional IT park. The equipment will assist the Sakhalin and Kuril army located in the NVO military training ground,” the head of the region wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to the governor, the IT park is also developing other UAV models that can be used for military and training purposes. Production will start in the near future, and it is planned to assemble 100 unmanned aerial vehicles by the end of the year. As the workshop expands, drone production will increase to 300 units per month.
