Musk promised to make a smartphone if Google and Apple remove Twitter from their app stores
WASHINGTON, November 26 – RIA Novosti. Billionaire Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, has promised to make his own smartphone if the social network is removed from the main app stores.
“I will make an alternative phone if there is no other option,” Musk wrote on Twitter.
That’s why he reacted to the posting of Twitter with the suggestion that he should consider his own smartphone if Twitter is removed from the app stores for iPhone and Android. Musk also expressed that he hopes things do not go to such a development.
At the end of October, Musk finally completed the $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter. Widely criticized for severe censorship, the social network has promised to liberalize its editorial policy and create a content moderation council, but don’t make global decisions on posting policy and the restoration of blocked accounts until the council works.
Musk also warned that Twitter will “do a lot of stupid things” in the near future. The company aims to “keep what works and replace what doesn’t.”
