Pentagon: US base in Syria hit by missile attack, no one injured
WASHINGTON, November 26 – RIA Novosti. The US Armed Forces Central Command said the US base in Syria was attacked by missiles and no one was injured.
The command claims that the strike has undermined peace and stability in the region by endangering coalition forces.
The US military illegally controls areas in northern and northeastern Syria in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasaq and Raqqa, where the largest oil and gas fields in Syria are located.
Official Damascus has repeatedly described the presence of the US military on its territory as an invasion and state piracy with the aim of outright theft of oil.
