Weather alert has been issued in Ukraine’s Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.
MOSCOW, November 26 – RIA Novosti. An explosion sounded in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk, an air raid alert was declared in the area, Ukrainian online publication Strana.ua reported.
The message on the broadcast’s Telegram channel said, “They report an explosion in the Dnieper. There is an air attack in the region.”
Sirens are also sounding in Ukraine’s neighboring Poltava and Kharkiv regions, as well as in the DPR and Zaporozhye region controlled by Kyiv, which borders the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the online weather warning map of the Ministry of Digital Affairs of Ukraine.
Attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure of the Russian Armed Forces began on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to Russian authorities, the Ukrainian special services stood. Attacks are made on energy, defense industry, military command and communication facilities.
Since then, air raid warnings have been issued daily in parts of Ukraine, and sometimes across the country. After the November 15 strikes, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that almost half of the country’s energy system has been shut down.
