Myśl Polska: Ukrainian refugees refused to leave the all-inclusive hotel in Poznan
MOSCOW, November 27 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian refugees hold a protest in Poland after the decision to evacuate from an all-inclusive hotel, writes a columnist Mysl Polska Przemyslaw Piast.
The journalist complained that Ukrainian refugees do not perceive the need to rent housing on their own as the norm, but as “the harm done to them”. The author noted that Ikar Hotel, which accommodates approximately 250 Ukrainians, fully covers accommodation, three meals a day, public services, cleaning and parking expenses.
“In other words, Ukrainians got an all-inclusive vacation at the expense of the Polish taxpayer,” Piast added.
According to the author, similar incidents with Ukrainian refugees are taking place in other parts of Poland.
Of the 7.7 million Ukrainian citizens who came to Poland since February, 1.3 million remain on the territory of the republic. Warsaw is also preparing a base to receive a new wave of refugees.
