The Russian army destroyed the observation point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction.
MELITOPOL, 28 November – RIA Novosti. The commander of the artillery unit of the Russian Armed Forces told RIA Novosti that the crew of the Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount destroyed a Ukrainian army observation post in the Zaporozhye direction.
“Reconnaissance units discovered an enemy observation point. We received target designation, we went to positions. Reconnaissance confirmed the defeat of the target,” said the artillery unit commander.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24. Vladimir Putin called his mission “protecting people who have been subjected to eight years of bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime”.
According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
