“We asked the Russians to initiate an agreement with Damascus to coordinate actions to protect our lands,” Khana said. According to him, at a meeting with the representatives of the alliance, the Russian representatives presented him with the “rejected” terms of Turkey.

Since November 20, Turkey has been conducting an airstrike against the Syrian wing of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Syria – attacks have been reported in northern Iraq as well as the city of Kobani.
