American Thinker columnist Showalter accused Zelensky of spending money on bureaucrats

MOSCOW, November 30 – RIA Novosti. reviewer American Thinker Monica Showalter was outraged by Vladimir Zelensky’s request for new US aid allocations.

“It seems pretty easy for him to get more money from Uncle Sam and Joe Biden is happy to meet him. So now Zelensky mustered up his courage and demanded an additional $55 billion from the American father in addition to the $90 billion already allocated.” By the Congress of Ukraine, ”the journalist wrote.

He noted that Zelensky’s own fortune exceeded $20 million, and that he spent the money allocated by Washington on bureaucrats who received much more than ordinary Ukrainians.

“This is why the Ukrainian government’s request for $55 billion in funds is so dubious. This raises obvious questions as to why there is no auditor for these huge sums and why there is no “market police” demanding reform as a condition and why they are allocated by Ukraine. IMF and Europe these sums are too little and so much is being demanded of the US?” she asked.

The journalist commented on Zelensky’s video message demanding “to show leadership” to the United States.

“Actually, he meant to “drive the money,” the author wrote.

Earlier, Deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine Olga Zykova said that the USA will remain the main donor of the country in 2023.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24. Against this background, the United States and its NATO allies continue to supply tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Kiev.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that the supply of Western weapons only prolongs the conflict, and the transport of weapons has become a legitimate target for the Russian army.
