50 Russian soldiers returned from Kiev-controlled area, they are being helped
MOSCOW, December 1 – RIA Novosti. Fifty Russian soldiers returned from Ukrainian captivity, reported at the Ministry of Defense.
Necessary medical and psychological assistance is provided to all released. They will be delivered to Moscow by military transport planes, where they will receive treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Defense.
Last week, the military department announced the return of prisoners: 50 people were released on November 24 and nine more on the 26th.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24. Vladimir Putin called his mission “protecting people who have been subjected to eight years of bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime”. According to the president, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions that guarantee Russia’s security.
