According to local residents, about 25 trucks with a capacity of 20 tons each went to the warehouses and then returned. Greek police confirmed the transport of ammunition without giving details, the portal wrote.
Greece is actively involved in the supply of both arms and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Athens was among the first to provide aid to Kiev – on February 27 it sent 40 tons of equipment over Poland with two S-130 aircraft. After that, Greece sent new batches of weapons and military equipment.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that a military expert spoke about the shells that Boeing is ready to supply to Kiev.
