Netanyahu criticizes Trump’s dinner with anti-Semitic Fuentes and rapper Kanye West
MOSCOW, December 4 – RIA Novosti. Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was authorized to form the new Israeli cabinet in November, criticized former US leader Donald Trump’s dinner with far-right activist Nick Fuentes and rapper Kanye West, who had previously been criticized for anti-Semitism.
In an interview with US television channel NBC News, Netanyahu said that Trump has done “great things” for Israel before – for example, he recognized Jerusalem as the country’s capital and also recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. According to Netanyahu, he remains grateful to the former US leader.
“As for Kanye West and the other unacceptable guest, I think that’s not just unacceptable, it’s just wrong. I hope he (Trump) finds a way to stay away from it and denounce it,” Netanyahu said.
Trump had previously come under fire after having dinner at his home in Mar-a-Lago in November with anti-Semitic and white supremacist Nick Fuentes and Kanye West, who himself had made anti-Semitic statements.
