SVATOVO (LPR), 6 December – RIA Novosti. Over the past two weeks, soldiers of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District repulsed several attempts by the Ukrainian security forces to advance in the direction of Svatov in the Donbass.
He explained that at the moment the situation in the direction of Svatovsky is stable and is completely controlled by the Russian army.
The interlocutor of the organization said, “The situation is stable in general. It is controlled. Now we have started to work very successfully from closed firing positions. The scouts give the coordinates very accurately, and we hit very accurately thanks to the scouts.”
The situation in the Donbass in the direction of Svatovsky escalated a few months ago. Ukrainian security forces regularly bombard the city of Svatovo from HIMARS MLRS, trying to break through the defenses in this strategically important area, paving the way for a number of settlements in the republic.
