Putin: Russia does not hand over nuclear weapons to anyone, but will certainly protect its allies
MOSCOW, December 7 – RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia does not and does not hand over nuclear weapons to anyone, but will defend its allies by all available means.
On Wednesday, the president convenes the Council for the Advancement of Civil Society and Human Rights. Svetlana Makovetskaya, member of the HRC and director of the Center for Civil Analysis and Independent Research “Limits”, asked the president about the threat of a world nuclear war.
The President noted that American nuclear weapons are in large numbers on the European continent. “We have not and will not hand over our nuclear weapons to anyone, but if necessary, we will protect our allies with all the means we can,” Putin said.
