“In Odessa, residents of the Luzanovka micro-region closed the street in protest due to a power outage, they have been without electricity for five days,” the newspaper writes on its Telegram channel.
The publication posted a video in which local residents reported that there was no light due to a burned-out shielding wire. “Emergency services are not responding,” commented one micro-region resident of what was happening in the video.
Earlier, the representative of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Sergei Bratchuk, reported that more than 200,000 residents in the region were left without electricity.
The attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure of the Russian Armed Forces began on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, the Ukrainian special services stood. Attacks are being carried out against energy, defense industry, military command and communication facilities throughout the country.
After the November 15 strikes, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said that almost half of the country’s energy system has been shut down. In December, Volodymyr Zelensky said that it is now impossible to completely restore Ukraine’s energy system.
