LUGANSK, December 9 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Svatovo at 06:30 and fired three 155-millimeter “NATO” shells, reported Representation of the LPR in the Ukrainian Joint Center for Control and Coordination of War Crimes Issues (JCCC).
“A bombardment was recorded using 155-millimeter artillery pieces (three shells) in the village of Svatovo at 06:30 from the side of the Ukrainian armed formations,” says the representative’s message on its Telegram channel.
Svatovo in the LPR is regularly bombed by Ukrainian troops from various pieces of artillery.
Artillery with a caliber of 155 millimeters is used by NATO countries. The United States has supplied Kiev with a long-range M777 howitzer caliber 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to bombard the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. In addition, the Ukrainian troops received German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
