Energoatom claims nine power units controlled by Kyiv are connected to the grid
MOSCOW, December 17 – RIA Novosti. All nine nuclear power units controlled by Ukraine are operational, the national company reported on Saturday. “Energoatom”.
The company added that currently the capacity of one of its power units is limited to 600 MW, as the power system cannot get all possible electricity from it.
Attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure of the Russian Armed Forces began on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to Russian authorities, the Ukrainian special services stood. Attacks are being carried out against energy, defense industry, military command and communication facilities throughout the country. Vladimir Zelensky, in a meeting with US President Joe Biden on December 11, said that 50 percent of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine was destroyed.
