Xi Jinping: China ready to cooperate with Germany to solve energy crisis
BEIJING, December 20 – RIA Novosti. In a phone call with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping said China is ready to deepen cooperation with Germany to resolve its energy and food crises.
“China is ready for wider and deeper cooperation with Germany in solving global problems such as pandemic, climate change, food and energy crises,” said the Chinese President.
Xi Jinping expressed hope that Germany will continue to play an active role in ensuring the stable and long-term development of China-EU relations. He also said that the Chinese side hopes Germany will provide a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory business environment in Germany for Chinese companies.
