Ministry of Defense: Electronic Warfare Facilities blocked the use of UAVs by Ukrainian troops in Soledar
MOSCOW, January 13 – RIA Novosti. The electronic warfare equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation suppressed the command and control system of the Ukrainian troops during the liberation of Soledar and prevented the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by the Ukrainian troops, reported At the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The forces of Russian troops and electronic warfare equipment concentrated in this direction suppressed the enemy’s control system, and also prevented the use of Ukrainian UAVs,” the ministry said.
As the Ministry of Defense noted, Soledar was taken on the evening of January 12, thanks to the constant artillery fire and air strikes and missile forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the ministry, the liberation of the city is important for the continuation of successful offensive operations in the direction of Donetsk.
