Gavrilitsa described violation of Moldovan airspace as disrespect for sovereignty
KISINEV, 14 January – RIA Novosti. Moldovan Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa said the violation of airspace was disrespectful to Moldovan sovereignty, after reports of rocket parts were found in the country.
On Saturday, the Moldovan Interior Ministry reported that the border service found a rocket fragment near the village of Larga in the north of the republic, the ownership of the fragments was not specified.
Gavrilitsa wrote on Facebook: “I express my outrage at the disrespect for Moldovan sovereignty, the repeated violation of airspace today and the falling of rocket fragments in the settlement of Larga, Briceni district.” An extremist social network banned in the Russian Federation).
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the border police increased the number of patrols that monitor the airspace and green belt in the border region with Ukraine. Emergency rescue service 112, as well as the Bombtech brigade and the Briceni district prosecutor’s office, were informed that rocket parts were found. The Inspector General for Emergencies and the Border Police provide perimeter security and prepare assistance to investigative teams.
This is the third time that rocket fragments have fallen on Moldovan territory.
