The Foreign Ministers of France and Austria stressed the need to strengthen the aid to Ukraine.
PARIS, January 16 – RIA Novosti. The French and Austrian Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna and Alexander Schallenberg, stressed the need to strengthen European assistance to Ukraine in all areas during Monday’s talks, the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Colonna reportedly received an Austrian colleague in Paris on Monday.
“The Ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in Ukraine and stressed the need to strengthen European assistance to this country in all areas,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Colonna and Schallenberg also discussed the need to strengthen “Europe’s strategic autonomy, particularly in the industrial, commercial and energy fields”.
The Foreign Ministers of France and Austria also touched on the situation in Iran: Diplomats agreed on the need to continue and increase the pressure on Iranian officials in connection with the harsh suppression of protests in this Arab country.
