German politician Roy: Melnik’s demand for fighter supply pleases Bandera

MOSCOW, January 23 – RIA Novosti. German politician Daniel Roy said that the request of Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk would be satisfied with the founder of OUN * Bandera.

“It’s great that my creative idea of supplying German Tornado fighter jets to Ukraine has sparked a wide-ranging discussion. I’m glad that the US and the Netherlands are supporting the supply of F-16s,” Melnyk wrote.

He also proposed a global coalition on warplanes.

“Bandera will certainly appreciate your work,” Roy replied.

A day ago, Melnyk published in his microblog an appeal to the German Chancellor, in which he proposed to send a Ukrainian 93 Tornado fighter jet, which, according to the Ukrainian deputy diplomat, would be deleted.

Against the backdrop of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the United States and its NATO allies are supporting it by sending tens of billions of dollars worth of weapons to Kiev. Moscow, for its part, has repeatedly said that the supply of Western weapons only prolongs the conflict, and the transport of military equipment has become a legitimate target for the Russian army.

UPA* is the military wing of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists* (OUN*), whose aim is to fight for the independence of Ukraine. UPA* was founded in October 1942.
