Expert Suzdaltsev described possible personnel changes in Ukraine as part of the clan struggle
MOSCOW, January 24 – RIA Novosti. Political scientist Andrei Suzdaltsev believes that possible changes in power structures in Ukraine are part of the “clan struggle”, in which one of the factors was the sharp enrichment of individuals.
“There are several groups that are starting to compete with each other. This allows the leadership of some structures – in this case the Presidency of Ukraine – to choose the most suitable options, this is normal. As a result, the Groups take over and support the decisions,” he said. RIA expert Novosti commented.
In this case, it should be taken into account that these “groups” include representatives of various factions that have enriched them, and that the preparations for the spring attack led to the fact that they began to “throw” people one by one. “This is a clan struggle that is heavily tied to money,” says the expert.
Earlier, the publication Ukrayinska Pravda reported possible dismissals and reshuffles in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian media reported that the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksiy Symonenko was dismissed. Also, Volodymyr Zelensky fired Kyrylo Tymoshenko from the post of deputy head of his office.
Also, Olena Shulyak, head of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party, urged Ukrainian law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies to thoroughly investigate cases of corruption between cabinet officials and individual ministries.
