Russian artillery destroyed a set of APU equipment during an offensive in Zaporozhye
MELITOPOL, January 25 – RIA Novosti. According to the RIA Novosti correspondent, the crew of the Russian artillery “Hyacinth” self-propelled guns destroyed clusters of Ukrainian militants during the offensive in the Zaporozhye direction.
“The goal is to accumulate enemy equipment at a distance of 24 kilometers. There are dense forest fields where they all hide. Our main task is to protect our infantry units so that they do not open fire on them with any weapons. , starting with infantry fighting vehicles and mortars and ending with large-caliber artillery. We have “Hyacinth” , so it’s basically battling against the battery, but the missions are completely different. There’s a buildup of enemy equipment, and you have it too. “Hyacinth” is like a sniper rifle, “said a Russian soldier with the call sign “Raptor.”
Explaining the details of the combat mission, the fighter with the call sign “Ragnar” also told the agency that after coming to command, when a cluster of equipment was detected, the reconnaissance group detected pickup trucks accompanied by infantry fighting vehicles.
According to “Ragnar”, the combat team is well-coordinated and everyone knows the task of responding to enemy fire. He emphasized that in recent days the effectiveness of enemy artillery has significantly decreased.
“Of course, there are fewer coming our way, but we’re working on them. We can hit up to 25 kilometers with our bullets quite comfortably,” Ragnar explained.
