Ministry of Defense: The Russian army blocked the attempt of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cross to the left bank of the Dnieper
MOSCOW, January 25 – RIA Novosti. The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Wednesday that the Russian army has stopped the attempt to land Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
The Russian military department stated that “Kherson region, in the direction of Kherson in the Dnepriany enclave, artillery fire prevented an enemy’s attempt to land on the sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the left bank of the Dnieper.” in a report.
In the Nikolaevka region (also in the Kherson region), it was noted that the air strikes and artillery fire of the Russian troops hit the enemy reserves on the right bank of the Dnieper, up to a company tactical group. In total, up to 30 Ukrainian soldiers, three boats and two infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed.
