The White House said there was no evidence that aid to Ukraine had fallen into the “wrong hands”.

WASHINGTON, January 25 – RIA Novosti. White House National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said Wednesday that the United States has no evidence that aid to Ukraine has been misused or fallen into the wrong hands.

“We have seen no evidence that anything we send to Ukraine has fallen into the wrong hands or been misused,” he told reporters.

Russia had previously sent notes to NATO countries due to the supply of weapons to Kiev. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Kiev. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted that pumping weapons into Ukraine from the West does not contribute to the success of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative effect.
