Media: Estonia agrees to hand over cluster munitions to Ukraine
MOSCOW, January 26/ Radio Sputnik. The state broadcasting portal ERR reported that Estonia had agreed to send cluster munitions to Ukraine, but could not do so without Germany’s permission.
Earlier, the media, citing sources, reported that one of the European countries agreed to send cluster munitions to Ukraine. It was claimed that “collateral damage caused by them is not as great as it used to be”.
The ammunition was purchased from Germany and its approval is required for their transport to Ukraine.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkura “does not consider it necessary” to disclose details, including the amount of ammunition and the nomenclature.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that a cluster bomb had fallen in the center of Donetsk.
