One of three pilots of Su-30 and Mirage 2000 fighter jets crashed in India dies
NEW DELHI, 28 January – RIA Novosti. Indian Air Force approved As a result of the emergency, a pilot was killed when two warplanes crashed.
An Air Force spokesperson tweeted, “Two Indian Air Force fighter jets crashed near Gwalior this morning. The planes were performing a normal combat training flight. One of the three pilots was fatally injured.”
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
Su-30 and Mirage 2000 warplanes of the Indian Air Force crashed in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. The planes took off from the Gwalior airbase in the province where the exercises were held. According to sources, the Su-30 had two pilots, while the Mirage 2000 cockpit had one pilot.
It was noted that Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh contacted Chief of Staff General Anil Chauhan and Air Force Commander Vivek Ram Chaudhary regarding the emergency.
