PARIS, January 30 – RIA Novosti. Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on Monday that the Netherlands has not received a request for the supply of F-16 fighter jets from Ukraine, but is ready to consider it.
“We have not received such a request (from Ukraine) for F-16 warplanes. However, if this happens, it will be an important step. But we will evaluate it and consult with our allies,” Rutte said. Earlier, the head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, spoke in favor of sending fighter jets to Ukraine. He explained that we can talk about American F-16 warplanes or Soviet designed fighters from East Germany’s old stocks.
